The 2016 Honda Pilot makes some impressive changes. The fully redesigned three-row Pilot comes standard with more space, fuel-efficiency, power and safety features to accommodate any family.
Starting with space, the 2016 Pilot features a new V6, 3.5-liter, 280 horsepower engine that adds 30 more horsepower than before without compromising the fuel-efficiency you would expect from a Honda. Up two mpg from the 2015 model, the new Pilot has a combined fuel economy rating of 23 mpg for the 2WD nine-speed automatic transmission, with an available I-VTM4 AWD option as well.
From space, power and fuel-efficiency, the 2016 Pilot has received major upgrades but its safety features truly set it apart from the competition. Moving to top of the class in safety performance, the Pilot comes equipped with Honda Sensing Advanced Safety and Driver-Assistive Technologies. Paired with a new underbody frame design and new hot-stamped ultra-high strength steel door rings, the 2016 Pilot aims for the highest U.S. Government (NCAP) and IIHS safety ratings.
