Get to Know Toshiaki Mikoshiba

Who is Toshiaki Mikoshiba? The president and CEO of American Honda Motor Co., president and CEO of Honda North America, and Honda's senior managing officer/COO of North American Regional Operations. A recent Honda press release shares info about his background.

It reads: "Mikoshiba joined Honda in 1980 and began his career with Honda Motor Co., Ltd. After serving in several automobile sales positions in Japan, Mikoshiba was assigned as a sales trainee at American Honda, serving in automobile field sales from 1985-1987."

Mikoshiba spent time in Automobile Operations, where he worked on vehicle allocation system called MOVE. He also worked on the planning and sales launch of the Honda Passport light truck and a range of other projects.
