If one were going to buy a hybrid, one would hope that the hybrid would live up to its name and be a really green vehicle, right? Well, not only does the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid do just that, but it was added to a list of “Greenest Vehicles of 2017.” According to hondanews.com, “the Honda Accord was named to the ‘Greenest Vehicles of 2017’ list from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) for being the most environmentally responsible nameplates available to consumers for the 2017 model year and for scoring in the top 1.3 percent of all vehicles scored.” One of our non-hybrid vehicles also scored well. The Honda CR-V made the ACEEE’s “Greener Choices 2017” list, scoring in the top 11 percent.
