The Honda HR-V Safety

Honda has never taken the back seat when it comes to safety. With forward thinking safety features every HR-V is designed to help make every drive a safer drive. The HR-V comes with smarter airbags. Inside are front, front side and side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor. The SmartVent technology included in the front side airbags helps decrease the potential for airbag-related injuries by venting the airbag if it encounters someone in the path of the airbag deployment.

Each HR-V comes with anti-lock brakes to help prevent wheels from locking up when braking hard, while electronic brake distribution balances the braking forces at each wheel based on how the HR-V is dynamically loaded.

All new Honda vehicles are covered by a 3-Year/36,000-Mile Limited Warranty, plus a 5-Year/60,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty.

Honda Care

Vehicles less than 3 years old and with fewer than 36,000 miles are eligible for Honda Care VSC Plans. Vehicles less than 1 year old and with fewer than 12,000 miles are eligible for Honda Care Maintenance.

Interior Options

Utility Mode You can maximize your cargo space with little effort. Just fold down the 2nd-row Magic Seat and you'll have plenty of room. Long Mode If you ever have to transport anything up to eight feet in length, you can do that by folding down the front and rear passenger-side seats to go long in the HR-V. Tall Mode If you need to bring something upright, just fold the Magic Seat up and you will have access to nearly four feet of space from the floor to the ceiling.
